I feel like being able to nurse is a blessing and a gift and to bestow that gift on a baby is a wonderful thing. Perhaps it's because I had such difficulties in the beginning with Alex that I feel this way. I don't know. I do think that if I were in the same situation, I would probably do the same thing - on either end. The deeper questions would be concerns of the health of the mother who is nursing, what kind of medications they are on, etc. etc. But just on the surface - I think it's a wonderful thing. I look forward to hearing your further thoughts on it.
